Notes: The restaurant "Ararat" was the haunt of Armenian Greats Nersissian, Shiraz , Isahakian, Saroyan, Babajanian, Khachaturian, Charles Aznavour, Kasparov and Spivakov. It is doubtful that the early greats would ever have frequented this overly done remake. The food is OK to good, they push you to the limits with hors d'oeuvres, but ,still, there are visitors for whom a trip to Yerevan is not complete with a pilgrimage to the once great house of artists and thinkers.
